Berry-Stained Lips

Lipstick is also trending minimalist with sheer, hint-of-color lips that look youthful and sweet. To get that berry-stained look with natural ingredients, shop for lipsticks that are formulated with fruit pigments and natural minerals rather than synthetic dyes. And natural and organic lipsticks also tend to include healthful ingredients like cocoa butter, vitamin E and antioxidants to nurture your lips and keep them moist. Bonus!

A Pop of Neon

The hottest makeup trend on the runways right now is bold, bright neon eyeliners and shadows. Applied in thin stripes and at avant-garde angles, acid green, electric yellow and hot pink accents are where it’s at. This decidedly unnatural looking style can, in fact, be attained without dousing your eyes in harmful chemicals. Look for mineral-based eye products free from synthetic dyes, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and potentially destructive nanoparticles.

Glittery Eyes and Nails

Super glammy glitter eyelashes, shadows, and nails to match popped up everywhere on the runways from Kate Spade to Tadashi Shoji. With glitter on the blacklist at festivals and probably your mom’s car, it may not seem like the easiest trend to hop on if you’re trying to be kind to mother nature and your body. Not true! Biodegradable eco-glitter is all the rage. Typically made from plant-based cellulose, eco-glitter is just as sparkly as conventional glitter, and it’s less itchy on your skin, too.
