About 1 in 8 U.S. women will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime, according to BreastCancer.org. It is predicted that at least 2,550 cases of invasive breast cancer will be reported for 2018, with almost 41,000 women losing their lives to breast cancer this year alone. Looking at these numbers is scary, and it is very important to learn what you can do to perform a self-breast exam and find out how to detect breast cancer early on.
