Bronze eyes paired with a bright red matte lip is a look that never goes out of style. You can never go wrong with this look. Wear this to work, a party, or to any occasion for that matter, and you will be turning heads for sure! This is a very easy look to recreate and is perfect for every skin tone and face shape. I’ll be walking you through my version of this classic look featuring an easy bronze eye look with matte red lips using some of my all-time favorite products. Don’t forget to watch the video tutorial at the bottom of the post!

Here’s how to recreate this classic bronze eye with red lips look:

Primer

E.l.f. Mineral PrimerProduct: E.l.f. Cosmetics Mineral Primer

Price: $4.99

With one pump of this primer, use your finger to dot product on the areas where pores are most visible. Spread and press product into the skin with clean fingers. Make sure to focus on areas where you create the most oil and where pores are visible.

This primer is one of my favorite drugstore products because it is effective and very affordable. It gets the job done! Let the product seep into the pores before moving on to the next step.

Setting Spray

NYX Matte Finish Setting SprayProduct: NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray

Price: $ 5.59

I am aware that setting spray is usually used as the final step in most makeup routines. However, for my skin, I have found that using this product before applying my foundation is the most effective. It is great at keeping my skin matte and holding onto the foundation.

I also love spraying this on my face on the days I do not use foundation. I will spray this on my face, do some quick spot concealing, some cream blush and mascara and I am good to go. This is an amazing product!

FoundationNYX Drop FoundationProduct: NYX Drop Foundation in “True Beige”

Price: $13.99

I love these drops! For this tutorial, I used the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge to apply this product. This foundation is great for any coverage you are looking for. You can get sheer to full coverage with this foundation, and it has amazing wear!

This foundation leaves a beautifully smooth matte finish on the skin. I love that this feels very lightweight on the face and has the ability to provide full coverage.

Concealer

Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment ConcealerProduct: Maybelline Instant Rewind in “Fair”

Price: $8.99

This concealer is great for the inner corners under my eyes. That area for me seems to be the darkest and I like to use something very bright and pigmented to conceal that area. This product is affordable and available in nearly all drugstores.

I also apply this on the sides of my nose and along the bridge of my nose, chin, around the nostrils, and corners of the mouth to highlight these areas. This concealer is perfect for highlighting and concealer and does not settle into wrinkles.

PowderNYX Stay Matte But Not Flat PowderProduct: NYX Stay Matte but Not Flat Powder

Price: $9.99

To apply this powder, I used my favorite Sigma F20 brush. It is large and round and makes applying powder so easy! This powder has been my go-to powder forever! There is no other powder that gives me the coverage that this delivers. I love that it gives a natural finish and sets any foundation without feeling chalky. My skin can still breathe through this product, which is a huge plus.

Bronzer

E.l.f. Bronzer Palette Deep BronzeProduct: E.l.f. Bronzer Palette in “Deep Bronze”

Price: $6.00

I was so excited about this product when I purchased this powder at my local Target. Let me tell you, that when I opened it and applied it I was amazed! It is definitely one of the best bronzers for its price.

I used the shade in the upper right corner of the palette in the hollows of the cheeks, sides of the forehead, along  my hairline and jawline, and sides of the nose using an inexpensive e.l.f. blush brush. The duo worked great together!

Eyes

Tartelette 2 In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow PaletteProduct: Tarte Cosmetics Tartelette in Bloom Eyeshadow Palette, Maybelline The Falsies Waterproof Mascara in “Very Black”

Price: $46.00, $5.30

I used Tarte’s Tartelette in Bloom eyeshadow palette for this eye look. In my crease, I went in with the color “Jetsetter” with a Sigma E25 brush. In windshield wiper motions, I applied this color to the crease, dragging it up a little above the crease for a smokey effect. I also used this color along the lower lash line.

With a Sigma F75 picked up the color “Firecracker” in the palette and packed it onto my lid. This is a beautiful and very pigmented bronze shade. To intensify the color, I sprayed setting spray on the brush and dipped the brush into that same shade and continued to build the color on my lids.

To create a soft wing, I used the shade “Leader” with a Sigma E15 brush. I created a soft line along the lower lash line with this color and extended it out to create a soft wing. Picking up more of the same shade, I blended it into the outer third part of the lid. To blend out the line on the lower lash line, I picked up the color “Jetsetter” with the Sigma E25 to smoke it out.

To finish off the eyes, I used my favorite mascara of all-time, Maybelline’s Falsies Waterproof Mascara, and I’ve been using it for years. If you have straight eyelashes like mine, this mascara will keep your eyelashes up and curled all day and gives you a false lash effect.

Highlight

Becca Pearl HighlighterProduct: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in “Pearl”

Price: $38.00

I applied Pearl on the very tip of my nose, along the bridge of my nose, cupid’s bow, tops of my cheekbones, and my brow bone.

This product is one of the best highlighters out there as most of you already know. Pearl leaves a beautiful shimmering highlight without looking crazy, and I can build up to the intensity that I desire.

Brows

https://www.elfcosmetics.com/p/instant-lift-brow-pencilProduct: E.l.f. Brow Pencil in “Neutral Brown”

Price: $2.00

For my brows, I have fallen in love with this brow pencil from E.l.f. Neutral Brown such a perfect color for me and blends so easily. The color isn’t too ashy or too red which is what works best for my hair color. I like to outline the bottom portion of the brows, create

I like to outline the bottom portion of the brows, create hair-like strokes in the sparse areas and then turn the pencil around and use the spoolie to blend it all together. This is a truly amazing product for its price. If you are new to brows or even an expert this is a must-try product.

Lips

The perfect red lips - Too Faced Lady BallsProduct: Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Matte Long Wear Lipstick in “Lady Balls”

Price: $21

Last but not least, the main star of the show is the lips. Too Faced’s Lady Balls liquid lipstick is one of my favorite red lip products because it is very long wearing and the perfect red shade for my skin tone. Most of all, this red lip is bold but a classic statement lip that will leave you feeling confident!

I hope you all enjoyed this rundown of my version of this classic makeup look. I have tested out these products several times and have even used some of them for years–they are all highly recommended! Visit my YouTube video down below to watch how I created this look!
