October is in full force, and I’m excited about everything that has to do with the dawn of fall and the assortment of orange pumpkin spice products on the shelves. But we can’t forget that October is also a month where we “think pink” and support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Last year, I created a YouTube makeup tutorial on how to paint a Breast Cancer Awareness pink ribbon on your face, as well as created a virtual makeup look in the Perfect365 app that applied the ribbon instantly so you could share it with your social media friends. In this article, I will guide you to five products that are making a difference this month–whether the brand is donating a portion of sales to breast cancer research, or if they are donating to programs that help cancer patients learn beauty techniques. Stick around and keep reading!

BEAUTY BAKERIE – TRES JOLIE LIP WHIP $16

Beauty Bakerie Breast Cancer Awareness

This super-long-lasting vegan formula from Beauty Bakerie is so good, you can leave the tube at home. This perky pink shade is one of those hot colors that you can wear all year.  You can stock up on this color for yourself, or give them out as holiday gifts (they offer more shades–so don’t fret if you can’t stand to wear pink) and you’ll be helping out a good cause! Beauty Bakerie will be donating a portion of each sale to Look Good Feel Better–a program that helps cancer patients who undergo chemo treatments to learn beauty techniques to help with skin care, cosmetics, nail care, wigs, and anything that is appearance-related that will help these ladies feel normal again.

BOBBI BROWN – PINK PEONY ILLUMINATING BRONZING POWDER SET $55

Bobbi Brown Breast Cancer Awareness Blush
To celebrate 25 years of supporting Breast Cancer Awareness, Bobbi Brown brings us this gorgeous duo of a pink illuminating bronzing powder that will add a sheer hint of color to the skin paired with a mini face blender brush with a pink handle. Great for on-the-go touch ups, and adding a bit of color to all parts of the face where the sun would kiss it. Bobbi Brown will donate $11 from each purchase of this set to BCRF (Breast Cancer Research Foundation).

KIEHL’S KISS FOR THE CURE BUTTERSTICK LIP TREATMENT DUO $32

Kiehl's Kiss for the Cure Butterstick Lip Treatment DuoThis is the perfect time of year to get your smackers in top shape for the winter ahead. Kiehl’s brings us the Kiss For The Cure Lip Treatment Duo with SPF 25–one tube is clear and the other tube has a pretty rose tint (for him and her!) that would make great gifts for anyone. The great part of this is that Kiehl’s is donating 100% of net profits, up to $25,000 to Bright Pink, who targets women from ages 18 to 45 to focus on cancer prevention and early detection.

JANE IREDALE MAGIC MITT $15Jane Iredale Magic Mitt

If you haven’t tried a makeup removing mitt before, you are missing out big time! These mitts remove makeup without help with any product–imagine removing mascara without using any type of eye makeup remover. These mitts are lifesavers and help you reduce cost when it comes to purchasing any type of makeup remover. I still recommend using a cleanser after using the mitt to clean up any residue. Jane Iredale is donating 100% of the profits from the sale of this mitt to Living Beyond Breast Cancer, a program that helps provide services and education to those whose lives have been affected by breast cancer.

THRIVE CAUSEMETICS PRETTY IN PINK COLOR SET $74

Thrive Causemetics Pretty in Pink SetYour three-minute makeover is right here with this Pretty in Pink Color Set from Thrive Causemetics. What I love about this set is that you have everything you need to perk up your face during the morning rush. Thrive Causemetics goes beyond makeup to create a brand that gives to women in need.
