Nothing says ‘you’ve made it’ like a hefty award trophy that looks like a really cool vortex of platinum. Fighting over where to display the trophy, well, that’s just half of the fun. We found out that we are the winners of the People’s Choice Webby Award for Best Beauty & Fashion App, worldwide. With over 3 million voters (record broken!), and 13,000 entries across hundreds of categories, you guys decided we were the best, and we were up against Vogue! So for that, we thank you very kindly!
Since this award is the Internet’s highest honor, according to The New York Times, we accepted this honor by attending the star-studded awards ceremony, which aired on May 16th on YouTube.
Other recipients of Webby Awards include Jimmy Kimmel for his Mean Tweets series, Solange won the Webby for Artist of the Year, Lady Gaga won two for her Intel Performance, and Coldplay won for their music video Up&Up.
