Makeup App’s Celebrity YouTubers Create Looks to Try On Virtually in Real Time
(Fremont, CA – August 2, 2016) Perfect365®, the free makeup and beauty app loved by celebrities and more than 80 million users, today announced a new, limited-edition set of looks inspired by the Rio Games this summer. Celebrating the record number of countries that will take part in Rio Games, Perfect365 has released looks with flag cheek tattoos representing 25 of the competitors. These looks will be available for FREE in a new Rio Games makeup category in the Photo Makeup section of the app. In addition, Perfect365 will release two FREE Rio Games-inspired looks from YouTube and Instagram celebrity makeup artists Adele Valencia and Tiffany Tong.
As part of its commitment to bringing its users trending looks from top artists, Perfect365 has added two new Rio Games-inspired looks from its makeup artist community via Explorer. The first look from Instagram celebrity Adele Valencia, called “Ana,” is inspired by Ana Gavriela Guevara, who is considered one of Mexico’s best athletes of all time. The second look, from YouTube celebrity Tiffany Tong, is a celebration of the three colors of the U.S. Team. These designs will be available for free in the new Explorer Community section of Perfect365 [hyperlink to release], as well as the Photo Makeup section. Makeup enthusiasts wanting to recreate these iconic styles can find Adele’s Instagram tutorial and Tiffany’s YouTube tutorial in the “info” section of each look.
“In a time when it feels like our newsfeeds are dominated by conflict, the Rio Games provide an opportunity to celebrate team collaboration, the spirit of athleticism and commitment to overcoming incredible physical challenges. We are thrilled to provide a platform for our users to engage, celebrate and share in this worldwide event,” said Vickie Wei, Director of Corporate Communications for Perfect365.
